Netherlands-based Kinta focuses on conscious collaborations with craftspeople around the world to produce their designs. The collection Cyl is handmade in Vietnam under fair-trade standards. The functional stoneware mug feels great in the hand and, combining matte with shiny finishes, looks gorgeous on the table. The ceramic is made in a small factory in Hanoi, run by the eighth generation of the family. The Kinta Cup in Celadon and Clay has a soft natural matte finish with a glossy celadon interior. It is fired at a high temperature making the Kinta range safe for dishwasher and microwave. The ceramist uses local resources and mixes the (non-toxic) colors.
