Very special orange wine from Slovenia made from Riesling Italico, Malvasia, plus a bit of Rebula (local grape variety). 12 months maceration on the skins under “flor” (a thick layer of bacteria and yeast that forms in a barrel if it’s not fully topped up which looks a bit like kombucha SCOBY). Wine for true connoisseurs. Multi-layered, bursting with tropical flavours and energy.

In the manner of traditional blended wines, this white blend looks both to the Vipava Valley and to the Karst. Consists of two parts Ribolla, two parts Welschriesling (very much at home in the Vipava Valley), and one part Istrian Malvasia.

On the nose are notes of peach, juicy apple, acacia, cedar and smoke and on the palate honey pears, almonds, black tea and more peach!

Loop has high volatile acidity. If this doesn't suit your taste, let it air for at least 30 minutes.
