Lux - Tarot Cards

LUX Tarot from US-based Uusi is a striking interpretation of the traditional Marseille Tarot, created by artist and Uusi co-founder Linnea Gits.

“Lux”, the Latin word for “light”, takes its inspiration from the classic tarot tradition while bringing Uusi’s distinctive artistic approach to each of the 78 cards. Every image begins as an original linocut, hand-cut by Linnea Gits, giving the deck a tactile, expressive quality and an intensity unique to this traditional printmaking technique.

The bold linocut imagery brings a new energy to the familiar symbolism of the Marseille Tarot, inviting fresh interpretations and conversations with every card.

The deck also includes five of Uusi’s signature Luna Cards and is presented in a heavy card-stock tuck box finished with gold foil embossing.

Traditional craftsmanship is central to Uusi’s work, with an emphasis on considered materials, artist-led production and beautifully made objects designed to be kept and used for years.
