Hallesches Haus is an established store, café and events space based in Kreuzberg. We are looking for a colleague (full-time or part-time) to support our friendly and international team in the store.
- Delivering a high level of customer service in English and German.
- Interest in product & interior design and trends
- Familiarity with Shopify POS System a plus
- Maintaining weekly shop cleaning plan
- Ensuring visual merchandising is kept to a good standard
- Checking stock levels regularly to ensure the right quantities are in the system
- Check products are priced correctly
- Ensure stock is replenished and the shop floor is fully stocked
- Be responsible for taking payments correctly at till points and cashing up at the end of the day
- Report to the store management team with customer feedback, noting patterns, trends, requests etc
- You are able to work independently and self-sufficiently (usually you will be the only person working in the store on any given day) and show initiative and problem solving skills
- Regular meetings with owners
- Regular opening hours Wednesday - Saturday (weekend work a must)
We are also searching for support with our online store (www.hallescheshaus.com). For the right candidate this may be combined with the role above in-store, but we are also open to hiring for on-line and in-store separately.

- Regular meetings with owners and digital marketing project manager
