Der Melba Throw von Slowdown Studio ist eine farbenfrohe, kunstvolle Decke, entworfen von der finnischen Illustratorin Suvi Suitiala. In den USA aus 100 % Baumwolle (davon 25 % recycelte Fasern) gewebt, ist sie nachhaltig, leicht und hat eine wunderschöne, strukturierte Oberfläche — perfekt für jedes Zuhause.
Wie alle Decken von Slowdown Studio ist der Melba Throw super vielseitig: als Sofadecke, Bettüberwurf, Picknickdecke oder sogar als Wanddeko. Die Mischung aus kräftiger Illustration, weicher Webstruktur und Alltagstauglichkeit gibt jedem Raum Charakter und Wärme.
Slowdown Studio wurde 2015 in East LA vom australischen Designer Marc Hendrick gegründet und steht für Zusammenarbeit, Kunst und Individualität. Das Label arbeitet weltweit mit jungen und etablierten Künstlerinnen und Künstlern zusammen, um gewebte Textilien zu schaffen, die als lebendige, funktionale Kunstwerke dienen.
