The Essien Throw is a bold, artful woven blanket designed by French illustrator and graphic designer Noémie Cédille for Slowdown Studio. Made in the USA from 100% cotton (including 25% recycled fibres), it offers a sustainable, lightweight, and beautifully textured addition to any home.
As with all Slowdown Studio blankets, the Essien Throw is wonderfully versatile — perfect as a couch or bed throw, a picnic rug, or even as wall art. Each piece adds warmth, colour, and a sense of modern artistry to your space.
Founded in East LA in 2015 by Australian designer Marc Hendrick, Slowdown Studio champions collaboration with emerging and established artists across the globe. Their woven textiles are celebrated as functional works of art, balancing beauty with everyday utility.

The crystal glass ‘Blob’ is the cool older brother to Studio Arhoj’s ceramic figurines. Melted into form from massive chunks of sparkling glass, the Crystal Blobs are made individually in Copenhagen. The little painted eyes – some wide open, some closed, other crossed – give the Blobs their characteristic mischievousness.

Smiling Faces Genuine leather coasters!
Ark Colour Design was founded in 2015, when they set about creating products which are fun and affordable, but also well-made. All their products are made by a small family-run manufacturer in Scotland. The leather is processed in their on site tannery and then cut and foil embossed to our designs. Because every piece is hand-finished with embossing, each one is unique to the next.
Made in their Cambridge studio.
Each set contains one of each colour.
