Archivist was founded as a letterpress printer in the UK in 1994 working with the visual archives of the Natural History Museum. We feature a selection of oversized matchbooks, designed by Archivist in their signature nostalgic style. Practical and functional, they make lighting fires, storm lanterns and big candles a breeze. With a similar love of taking inspiration from old print ephemera as well as injecting humour into designs, we’ve collaborated with Louise Lockhart, the creative behind the business, to produce a fun and really rather striking range of matchboxes.
